About Me

Hello, I am Sukul Bagai

Student, XLRI - Jamshedpur

Have you ever experienced the convenience of using Microsoft Excel on the go? Or gotten delighted with a deal that you found on the Amazon app? If so, you might have seen a glimpse of my work in action already!

Hello, I am Sukul - a product manager with a passion for crafting experiences that resonate with users and leave a lasting impact. For the last 2 years, I’ve had full ownership of the Microsoft Excel app on mobile phones and tablets. With over 120 million customers, I've focused on enhancing key performance indicators - such as Monthly Active Users (MAU) by 30% and Retention rates by 5%, while maintaining an NPS of over 50 & ratings of over 4.7 on the App Store.

Prior to my role at Microsoft, I have worked as a Software Developer at Amazon for 2 years - where I worked on multiple mobile marketing & deals initiatives, driving organic app installations by 15% and boosting deal-related order rates by 4X.

In my experience, I have cultivated a diverse skill set that spans technology, marketing, and monetization. However, what truly sets me apart is my ownership, my resilience, and my ability to collaborate effectively with teams that span across geographies & disciplines.

I believe working on the latest technologies in this shifting era of AI, Blockchain & Automation will allow me to further expand my skills and expertise. It will also aid me in furthering my personal mission - which is to use my creativity and leadership skills in order make a difference & leave an impact.

I am genuinely excited about the opportunity to connect with you and discuss how we can synergise our thoughts. Please feel free to reach out to me via email, LinkedIn or phone. You can also access my resume through this link: https://bit.ly/sukul-resume. I look forward to hearing from you soon!

Stickman Ideates

Social Causes & Community Work

I believe that everyone should be entitled to a quality education. Individuals should be empowered and motivated to self-learn, and have access to an ecosystem that supports it.

As part of contributing to this belief, I used to volunteer to teach underprivileged children from urban slums once a week via an NGO U&I, where I coached and mentored underprivileged children from urban slums by providing them with my time and care. My purpose was to ensure that each child took something out of my interaction with them.

Continuing on that, once I came to XLRI, I volunteered to teach Java in the Basic Computer Learning Program, aimed at underprivileged students from Class 9 & 10. I was responsible for end-to-end content development and session design for imparting basic Java Programming knowledge. I will be writing about my experience and creative ways I explored to impart algorithmic thinking in my blog soon.
